| Review by KMM (Londonderry, NH) 2010-02-16 I bought this laptop to replace a Dell Inspiron that I had a few years. I am a software developer and had a larger hard drive for all my instruments, but not shell out $ 800 for a new laptop. I have this one at Office Depot for $ 599 after $ 50 rebate from HP. The screen 17 "is a great advantage and the clarity is amazing. Th... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Kort Kramer (South Florida, USA) 2010-02-10 The HP Pavilion dm3 1130us (AMD CPU and ATI GPU-model) is a good compromise between the portability of a Netbook and features a full-size notebooks. | Review by D. Burrows (North Georgia) 2010-03-08 So far I am very happy with my new DV6-2170US. It is not intended to run the software load, but after my first week has performed well with the applications that I have. HP technical support was terrible, but I expect that. (During the process of making operational the Office 2003 I was informed that, among other things, Office 2003 is n... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Jeffrey Hyman (USA) 2010-03-09 Look and feel of this notebook is great and I really want to like, but the battery life is absolutely horrible. I expect that at least 4 hours of heavy use of a thin and lightweight. The only thing average of 2.5 hours at full charge with the screen set at a level weaker. Worse ... Battery lasts 4 hours free. Absolutely... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by J. Hamilton (Ludington, MI USA) 2010-03-11 I had the HP DV4-2161NR for several weeks. Super fast, no problem, how to use multiple programs at once. The screen size is perfect, not too big nor too small, and the weight is perfect. The only problem I have with this laptop is the area mouse pad. I think as with any laptop, the mouse seems to have a mind of its own lots. Sometime... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Temporary Texan (Fort Worth, Texas) 2010-03-13 The internal microphone is broken, and not just what I bought. According to HP is broken across the G60 series of portable computers. I got mine for a week, I discovered the microphone was broken on the second day, and I have spoken with the case managers from HP about my options. I seem to go back, because there is no correction... Read more reviews | ||
